Tuesday, August 20th will be our third annual Chalk the Walks!
Here’s how you can get involved this year:
- Be a Chalker – join the Facebook event and post your photos here
- Be a Community Partner – help us spread the word! Call Michele for posters or download a pdf here of the Vancouver, WA-area poster or a poster for anywhere in the world. Here’s a press release template to help you promote your local Chalk the Walks 2013!
- Be a Chalk Partner – be a designated location for free chalk in your city
You can chalk positive, inspiring messages from anywhere on August 20th — last year we had over 450 chalkers from at least 36 states and 4 countries (Austral ia, Canada, Norway and US)! Then post them on the Facebook event page to share them with the rest of us. Check the event page often to see new images from all over being posted.
If you’re in the Vancouver, Washington / Portland, Oregon area, we’d love to have you chalk with us. We’ll be in Uptown Village, right on Main Street in Vancouver from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
You can get free chalk at all 5 Vancouver Umpqua Banks. Visit one beginning Monday, August 12th and tell them you’re Chalking the Walks!
